Good times

Favorite moments from today:

• Putting a pair of footed pants on Ellie only to find they were way too small. Putting another pair of (unfooted) pants on her only to find they now qualify as baby capris. Going to her drawer of clothes the next size up and finding my favorite pair of pants from that size, and putting them on her. Perfect fit.
• Going to see a friend play a blues concert in a local park and having Ellie dance on my lap.
• Making dinner while my BB entertained the baby; in the middle of singing along with Pandora as it played Whitesnake's "Is This The Love", he stops and asks her, "Why are you looking at me like I'm crazy?" I burst out laughing and said, "Because she's smart."

Hopefully Saturday I can swap out most of this last size's clothes for the next size. (Her current clothing lives in drawers on the main floor of the house, in a little baby-stuff-filled alcove we have off the family room. All the other clothes are upstairs in the nursery.) It's so exciting to move up a size!

On the other hand, remember how a few days ago, her little feet didn't reach the ground when she was in her jumper? ...Sigh. How Very Fast They Grow. She can now touch the floor with the entire ball of her foot.
