Man, I love cooking with my little assistant. I'm glad it finally occurred to me to put her in her highchair and move it into the kitchen while I'm there. For one thing, it's much easier to replace her pacifier every minute and a half without completely fucking up dinner.But also, I love being able to talk to her while I'm cooking, giving her bits of culinary advice that she'll never remember, giving her random kisses between cutting up vegetables, and so on. I keep hoping she's enjoying the smells of the food and somehow absorbing my love of cooking.
