That's how Ellie greeted me this morning, when I went to get her out of bed. I think it's the first time she's told me about something she's dreamed. Come to think of it, I'm not sure how well she can differentiate between dreams and reality yet. When I asked her if it happened in her dream, she looked really confused. She doesn't have any books or videos that I know of in which a lion is eating a cookie, though. (Update: the next day, when she woke up from her nap, she said our dog Quinn was chewing her toys.)

In other news, I love how strong babies' grips can be. Irie likes to hold on to me while she's falling asleep. I took this photo last night. I was not going anywhere, if she had anything to do with it.
I was struck by how alike Ellie and Irie look in this photo. It lets me imagine that I can see what Abigail would've looked like at these ages, too.
