This past weekend, Ellie suddenly became verbal. She's been saying words for months, with her vocabulary slowly building, but recently she's exploded into speech. Today she said her first four-syllable word, "alligator". She also can identify all the letters of the alphabet and the numbers zero through ten. It almost literally happened overnight. This whole early childhood development thing is wild.
